After unloading the boat and setting up your own camp, you are free to explore on your own, take a swim, or just relax with notebook or sketch-pad. Dinner is served around 7. After dinner we will meet as a group for discussion and to share readings exploring The Hero’s Path that Ted has prepared, or the details of our own individual journeys. After a bit of star-gazing, it’s time to get a good night’s rest to prepare for tomorrow’s adventures!

A Day on the River 
In general, we are up early to have breakfast, load the boat, and leave camp before 8:30 AM. We may run a few or several rapids and then stop for a side hike up to a beautiful waterfall or to visit Indian ruins. We return for a beachside lunch and relaxation before boarding the boat to run the next set of rapids. We may stop for another hike if time permits, or may head to camp, arriving between 3 and 5 PM.
